Jacob Frommeyer awarded Diane Hill Scholarship in 2020

Jacob Frommeyer, a graduate student in the EKU College of Education’s Mental Health Counseling program, was recently awarded the Diane Hill Scholarship.  Jacob is originally from Alexandria, Kentucky in Campbell County but currently lives in Lexington. He was an undergraduate at EKU, earning a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in child and family studies.

Dakota Gallimore, EKU College of Education Counseling Graduate

Dakota Gallimore knew he wanted his career after the Marine Corps to focus on mental health, but he wasn’t sure what route was best. A native Kentuckian, he chose EKU because of the university’s reputation with veterans. He earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology (2017) and while taking undergraduate classes at EKU he discovered his career path as a counselor.
